The first week of school is over, with plenty of nerves for the reception class and the joy of reunion for the older children.
The children in our before school — yes, we are the only before school in Măgurele — and in our after school each received a little jar of "courage sweets", to help them through the harder moments of a school day. That small object does more than it appears to: a frightened child needs something concrete to hold on to, and a jar in their pocket gives them exactly that. It does not remove the feeling, but it gives it a shape they can manage on their own.
Parents were invited to sit down and relax over a cup of tea, confident that their little ones were safe and in good hands.
The mission of the whole PlusKids team, eight staff members, well-trained and experienced teachers, is to support each child's creative growth and the free, harmonious development of their personality. We are defined by passion, enthusiasm, care for detail and, perhaps most importantly, honesty and fairness towards parents.
Homework done attentively, English lessons, team play in the open air and a healthy spirit of competition, creative workshops, optional courses and good technical facilities are only part of what you find at PlusKids.
