The third day of magic at Summer School: a Harry Potter escape room.
The little wizards continued their adventure in Harry Potter's world. They carefully coloured the magic castle, made their own wands and confidently spoke the spell that helped them find the key unlocking the escape room's mysteries.
The escape room format works particularly well at their age precisely because you cannot move on without cooperating. The clues are split up, nobody holds them all, and the children have to tell each other what they have found — including those who usually prefer to work alone. And the time limit adds just enough pressure to be thrilling without frightening anyone.
The courage to say the spell out loud, in front of everyone, is no small thing either. For a shy child, that moment matters more than the key found at the end.
