It was an unforgettable day for the little ones.
The PlusKids children went to the Cezar Magic Productions show organised by Măgurele Town Hall, and the delight on their faces was beyond describing. Every trick had them spellbound, and the time spent together was full of wonder and smiles.
Beyond the entertainment, a magic show has a quality we particularly like: it raises the question "how was that done?" without anyone having to ask. The children come out with theories, argue, replay in their heads what they saw and hunt for the detail they missed. It is exactly the kind of thinking we practise in our logic activities, except that here it arrives of its own accord.
An outing brings something else too: a change of setting. A group of children going somewhere together behaves differently from the same group in a classroom — they help each other, they wait for each other and they remember the rules without being reminded, because they know they are away from the usual place.
It was a magical experience that brought the children a great deal of joy.
