At PlusKids, our passion for education is catching — and it shows best in summer, when the day is not divided up by the school bell.
Every activity is designed to be interactive, built to inspire and to challenge the children's imagination. The difference lies not in the topics but in how they reach them: the same idea can be told, or it can be built, measured, played. The second option asks more preparation of us, but it is the only one that leaves something behind.
We have a team of dedicated, committed teachers who guide the little ones in a friendly and enthusiastic way. In a summer programme their role is a double one: on the one hand they hold the thread of the activities, on the other they look after the group — because in summer children of different ages come together, children who do not know one another and who need a few days to settle.
Every week has its own theme, with educational activities planned well in advance so that the children discover something new without feeling they are back at school. That is in fact the hardest part of running a summer school: teaching children something serious in a stretch of time when all they expect is to have fun.
