At PlusKids, every activity is prepared with care, so that we can give children an educational experience that is both effective and full of joy.
A holiday week has a particular place in our programme. There is no homework to finish and no training session to leave for, so we can work on longer activities that would never fit into an ordinary day. That is where science experiments belong, since they require preparation, waiting and repetition, and art projects, which rarely finish within an hour.
We built skills through modern methods, turning every moment into an absorbing activity. The children did not merely learn; they took an active part: they chose, they tried, they got it wrong and did it again. It is the only way a holiday stays a holiday and, at the same time, keeps a child's mind awake.
These are some of our activities from the holiday week, prepared specially to delight and motivate them. And the best sign that they were well chosen was that, at the end of the day, the children asked what was coming tomorrow.
