We spent moments full of joy, colour and emotion at PlusKids during our Easter workshop.
With the little ones we not only made creative things and enjoyed a lovely egg hunt, but also learned about what Easter means and about the significance of this great feast. We talked, in terms they could follow, about love, kindness, light, hope and the joy of being together — big themes, said simply, as they should be at their age.
The egg hunt had its share of learning too, even if nobody noticed it as such: you search by clues, you count, you share with the others and you wait your turn. And the joy at the end is all the greater for how long you searched.
We were delighted to see so much enthusiasm, so many smiles and such involvement from the children. For us, activities like these matter because they bring together play, learning and the emotion of special occasions.
At PlusKids we want every celebration to be, for the children, not just an occasion for fun but also a chance to understand its beauty and its value a little better.
