At PlusKids we take a modern, interactive approach to consolidating pupils' knowledge, and worksheets are an important part of it.
Our worksheets are not simply exercises downloaded from the internet but carefully designed tools. The difference is not one of appearance but of fit. A sheet found online is written for an imaginary child, of average age, who has followed an unknown syllabus. A sheet made here starts from what was taught in class last week, from the mistakes we have seen repeating themselves and from the actual level of the children in the group. When the exercise fits, the child works; when it is too hard or too easy, they shut down or grow bored, and the time is lost just as surely either way.
The sheets give pupils structured practice and help them develop their writing. We encourage critical thinking, clarity and self-expression through tasks built so that the work resembles school learning while remaining a pleasure.
Our teachers give personalised feedback and adapt the sheets for different levels and individual needs. This is the part that counts most: a sheet marked without comment says only whether the answer was right, whereas a short remark written beside the exercise shows the child where the reasoning broke down. In this way every child gets a learning process matched to their own pace.
In essence, these materials do not only promote practice and better writing; they also bring interactive elements into the children's education.
