Meet Vernie, the Robot!
Vernie is the robot the children meet in the coding and robotics course at PlusKids.
A robot you build yourself and then program to move has an advantage no on-screen exercise can offer: a mistake in the code shows up immediately, in the real world. If the instruction is wrong, the robot heads off the other way — and the child goes back to the code on their own, without being asked.
