PlusKids Edu is now on Google Play: 16 free educational games

PlusKids Edu is available on Google Play. It is completely free and carries no advertising at all — two things we considered non-negotiable for an app a child opens on their own.

Inside there are 16 educational games, entirely in Romanian, designed to turn daily practice into play. They span ages 6 to 18: starting with first additions and subtractions and going all the way to 9×9 sudoku and the capitals of the world. Each game works on one clear skill — mental arithmetic, attention, visual memory, logic or general knowledge — and the child moves at their own pace, with no timer rushing them and no scores comparing them to anyone else.

The app grew out of a simple observation from everyday after-school work: repeated practice is what makes a concept stick, yet repetition is exactly the part children resist most. Inside a game, that same repetition goes almost unnoticed.
