The 2022 Summer School at PlusKids has come to an end. They were eleven wonderful weeks alongside the children, in which we learned, had fun and shared special moments.
We uncovered the mysteries of pirates and the fascinating world of bees, travelled around the world and into the depths of the seas and oceans. Nor did we forget Romania, our dear country, or life on the farm and the trip to the Animal Farm. We discovered art and scientific experiments, the mysteries of ancient Egypt and the magic of stories, and we finished convinced that life is full of colour, in Rainbow week.
One theme a week is by far the best format for a long holiday. A child has no time to grow tired of a subject, nor any chance to forget it: five days are exactly what a theme needs to take shape, arrive at a piece of work, a game and a conclusion of one's own. And a child who comes for only a few weeks still takes away something whole.
The summer closed with a memorable party: Zumba with Sara Preda from Victory GYM, face painting and games with the entertainer Rainbow Dash, cakes and, as on every other day, plenty of outdoor activities.
Thank you for the trust you placed in us. Farewell, Summer School — welcome back, before and after school.
