There are many days when the alarm rings at 6 a.m. and the day begins before Măgurele has woken up.
Behind every day spent with the children lie thousands of prepared materials and thousands of printed sheets. Activities thought through with care, matched to the age and level of each group, remade whenever they turn out too easy or too hard. Emotion, tiredness, responsibility and a great deal of work that usually goes unmentioned — because from the outside you only see the after-school hour, never the preparation behind it.
Then a message arrives from a parent and everything falls into place. For us, a message like that is the best confirmation that what we do genuinely matters. It is not a metric you can measure, but it is the only one we truly care about.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the parents who place their trust in us. Leaving your child in someone else's care for a few hours a day is no small decision, and we treat it as such. And thank you to the children, who give us the energy to keep going every single day — usually without realising it.
