Cambridge English celebration 2026: the children received their certificates

On 26 September we had the joy of celebrating together the children who sat the Cambridge English exam this year and earned their certification. The yard became a small autumn stage, with balloons, "Autumn at PlusKids" decorations and a red telephone box, and each child was called up in turn to receive their Cambridge English certificate and a small gift from PlusKids.

More than the certificate itself, we wanted to tell the children how much we value the work behind it: the perseverance of coming to class week after week, the seriousness with which they prepared, and the courage to walk into a real exam, assessed from outside the school. A Cambridge certificate is worth something precisely because it is not a mark given by a teacher who knows the child, but a confirmation against a standard used all over the world. For a primary-school child, seeing their own name on such a document is often the first concrete sign that the language they are learning truly belongs to them.

A heartfelt thank you to the parents, for their support, trust and constant involvement, without which this result would not have been possible. A special thank you to our teacher Olga Testova, for the dedication, patience and passion with which she prepared the children and led them, step by step, to this success.

We are very proud of them and look forward to the next challenges. Details about our English classes and Cambridge exam preparation are at https://pluskids.ro/en/courses/cambridge-english.
