It was a day full of energy, good nerves and enthusiasm at PlusKids.
More than 45 pupils took part in the Cambridge English exam, marking another important step in developing their English. For many of them the experience meant far more than an exam: it was a moment of confidence and courage, lived through in a calm atmosphere alongside classmates and friends.
Where you sit an exam matters enormously when you are eight or ten years old. Holding it at the PlusKids premises, in a room the children know, with people they see every day, removes half the tension of a day like this. Just enough nerves remain for it to matter, without getting in the way.
Special thanks to Olga Testova for her commitment, professionalism and the support she gave the children along the whole journey — from the initial assessment to the last mock exam before the real thing. Thanks too to the teachers involved in organising and invigilating, who kept the day running smoothly.
At PlusKids we believe learning means more than preparation hours and extra exercises. It means mutual support, confidence, nerves handled gently, and the joy of taking important steps together.
